PCTE Montessori Instructor Openings – Summer of 2015
Are you interested in becoming a Montessori Instructor of EC Geography, Elementary I Math, Elementary I Geometry or Elementary I-II Geometry?  Do you meet these qualifications?

  • 3 years of experience at level of instruction since receiving credential
  • Experience working with adults
  • Evidence of professional development
  • Current AMS member

2015 PCTE Field Consultants
Are you ready to share your Montessori experience with interns and provide them with the support and guidance they need? The a field consultant position may be right for you.

Do you meet the following qualifications?

  • Bachelors Degree Montessori credential at level of instruction 3 years of experience at level of instruction since receiving credential
  • Experience working with adults
  • Evidence of professional development Current AMS member

Are you ready and willing to perform the following duties?

  • Observe the intern’s class a minimum of three times during the year and provide a written report of each observation.
  • Observe for a minimum of two hours to assess the intern’s progress in the classroom, meet with the intern to discuss the observation, include the supervising teacher when appropriate, and make a social call on the head of school if possible.
  • Contact the intern at least once a month for the duration of the practicum.

Princeton Montessori School  - Middle School Teacher (Secondary I)
Princeton Montessori School is seeking a teacher who is passionate about the Montessori philosophy and enjoys teaching adolescents from sixth through eighth grade. This teacher must excel in written communication and have a desire to share the love of learning with curious students through literature, science and mathematics. The Princeton Montessori School welcomes candidates who want to work with a dynamic and committed team of teachers.  An AMS Montessori Elementary or Secondary credential preferred, but not required provided the candidate is willing to become trained over the next three years. Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred.

Princeton Montessori School  - AMS Internship Practicum 
The Princeton Montessori Society is offering 3 unpaid practicum (internship) opportunities (Infant & Toddler, Early Childhood, Elementary I) to begin September 2013 to passionate Montessori educators who have fulfilled the academic requirements through Princeton Center Teacher Education (PCTE).  Applicants must submit a current resume, 2 references along with a philosophical statement regarding his/her interest to become a Montessori teacher.  The minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.  A stipend in the amount of $3000 will be paid to each participant at the completion of the practicum experience and  the fulfillment of the requirements of the PCTE course for the recommendation of an AMS credential.
