Affirmative Art Tour stops at Princeton Montessori!

By May 11, 2016Uncategorized

Princeton Montessori Middle School was the third stop in the 2016 US Affirmative Art Tour.  Founder Eirik Trondsen developed this tour after working with groups to help people in difficult situations in Africa.  He developed and launched the Affirmative Art Tour in Africa, stopping by different places and with different groups to help them draw what they want for themselves – the dreams, goals, passions that they have – as a tool to make those things a reality.  This year, the Tour will go on for 21 days and make 21 stops from coast to coast in the US.  Our Middle School students enjoyed working with Eirik, Marcus, and Claudia to illustrate (and think about) what they want in their lives.  After the workshop the students left their mark on the Affirmative Art Tour van! You can follow the tour on Facebook, Instagram, or at affirmativeart.org. Special thanks to Mr. Koyluoglu who introduced this idea to our school.
