On Wednesday, July 25, 2018, Primary children will visit the Princeton Art Museum. The purpose of the trip is three-fold: to expose the children to real art, to teach them art museum etiquette, and to inspire their creativity.
On this day, students will depart from school at 9:30 am and arrive back to school at 11:15 am. They will have lunch upon their return.
We will not be visiting the gift shop. Please do not send money with your child. The trip will take place rain or shine. If it is raining, the children will need raincoats; please do not bring umbrellas.
What to bring/wear:
- Wear comfortable walking shoes (no flip flops)
- Wear raincoats as needed (no umbrellas)
Please submit your permission by Monday, July 23rd.
You may have noticed that there were a few changes in the front of the school. Over the summer two of our older gazebos were taken down. The one near the rear parking lot in the Lower Elementary outdoor education and nature environment was replaced by a new gazebo with beautiful plantings. The one by the upper parking lot was removed and replaced with a new parent gathering area with benches to the right of the entrance to the Infant and Toddler programs. This is a safer spot for parents and children to socialize. We hope you will enjoy these new spaces!
