Tune in Time
Trained and experienced yoga, meditation, and mindfulness teacher, Erin Galbraith, leads a weekly Monday session in each program, Primary aged through Middle School, teaching self-soothing, de-stressing, healthy practices one can use in all areas of life. This development of an inner awareness and regulation is a life skill all can benefit from and enjoy.
Our resident Ecology teacher, Eliza Hammer, has developed and offers a unique class for Upper School children that engages their intellect and bodies in the care and study of the earth, beginning with the botany and animal life on our very own school grounds. With a school vegetable garden, chickens, woods, and a Japanese meditation garden, Eliza makes use of an outdoor classroom to model and teach a way of life and learning.
