Summer fun for infants through grade three

SummerQuest at Princeton Montessori School is a wholesome, stimulating, nurturing experience for your child. The summer program, although implemented with a Montessori approach and seasoned teachers, is unique and separate from the school year, in that the novel experiences we design for your children evolve around: outdoors, crafts, special field trips and visitors, theater, friendships, and favorite traditions like gardening, building teepees and forts in the woods, and time for daydreaming and unstructured time with familiar and new friends.

For children eighteen months through grade 3, our Toddler, Primary and Elementary programs offer age-appropriate fun in a safe and caring environment. Sessions begin mid to late June and end in late August. Full-Day and Part-Day options are available. Care options are available from 7:30 AM through 6:00 PM.

ART Intensive - Ages 8-14

  • Do you have a child who really loves art? This summer, we are offering a three-day intensive art program for art-loving students from ages 8-14, designed to stimulate, challenge, and delight students with all levels of art experience.

Each day will have a specific focus designed to nurture the child’s love of art and allow them dedicated time and beautiful surroundings to follow their creativity – wherever it may take them!  In addition, a healthful lunch will be provided each day.
The intensive will be structured with each day focusing on a specific type of art – 2-D Art, Kinetic Art, and Mixed Media. The format for each day will start with an overview of the particular art form, famous artists within the style, definition, samples, and explanation. We will then learn about the materials available to the students to choose from within the studio. Students will be responsible for brainstorming the project they’d like to create and I will be there to guide and support them in overcoming challenges they might discover along the way. Each day, the students will complete a piece of original artwork to add to their portfolio.
The afternoon of Friday, June 21 at 2 PM, parents and friends are invited to come to an Art Exhibition showcasing the students’ work from the class.

$500 – This program promises to nurture the budding artist within!

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 8:30 am – 2:30 pm (Before and After Care available)

Minimum enrollment of six students to run the Art Intensive.

Toddler - 18 months through 3 years

Each day features stimulating daily activities for toddlers led by Princeton Montessori School’s experienced American Montessori Society (AMS) certified teachers who are developmental specialists. Whether enjoying the beautifully-designed, light-filled classrooms, singing, playing in the sandbox, or hearing a story, it’s all summer fun!
