SummerQuest

Summer fun for infants through grade three

SummerQuest

SummerQuest at Princeton Montessori School is a wholesome, stimulating, nurturing experience for your child.  The summer program, although implemented with a Montessori approach and seasoned teachers, is unique and separate from the school year, in that the novel experiences we design for your children evolve around: outdoors, crafts, special field trips and visitors, theater, friendships, and favorite traditions like gardening, building teepees and forts in the woods, and time for daydreaming and unstructured time with familiar and new friends.

For children aged eight weeks through grade 3, our Infant, Toddler, Primary and Elementary programs offer age-appropriate fun in a safe and caring environment. Sessions begin mid to late June and end in late August. Full-Day and Part-Day options are available. Care options are available from 7:30 AM through 6:00 PM.

Why SummerQuest?

Infant - 8 weeks through 18 months+

Our Infant Center is a beautiful, sunlit, spacious environment that is custom designed for infants, and is utterly safe and alive with responsiveness to their explorations. Within this safe harbor, infants enjoy freedom of movement to discover and interact, all while developing gross motor skills like grasping, reaching, and climbing.

Our teachers are American Montessori Society (AMS) certified Infant and Toddler professionals, with an in-depth understanding of the young child’s needs and development. Daily schedules are tailored for each infant.

Open from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Toddler - 18 months through 3 years

Whether enjoying the beautifully-designed air-conditioned classrooms, singing, playing in the sandbox, or hearing a story, it’s all summer fun! Each day features stimulating activities for toddlers led by Princeton Montessori School’s experienced American Montessori Society (AMS) certified teachers who are developmental specialists.

Our SummerQuest program offers toddlers an appreciation of the outdoors featuring abundant outdoor play time, frequent nature walks to pick flowers or care for their own garden, and water activities. Refund Policy

As with all summer programs, staffing decisions, student placement, and facilities expenditures are made many months in advance, based on secured enrollment.   We do not give refunds for SummerQuest.  The only exception to this policy is when a student has become medically unable to participate in SummerQuest, for two weeks or more, as certified by a licensed physician, providing the information necessary for Princeton Montessori to evaluate the situation.  Upon request of a parent or guardian, Princeton Montessori will provide the medical certification form, including a description of our camp, for completion by the physician.  Refunds will be limited to the period in which the student is medically certified as unable to participate in the SummerQuest program.
