SummerQuest

Summer fun for infants through grade three

SummerQuest

SummerQuest at Princeton Montessori School is a wholesome, stimulating, nurturing experience for your child. The summer program, although implemented with a Montessori approach and seasoned teachers, is unique and separate from the school year, in that the novel experiences we design for your children evolve around: outdoors, crafts, special field trips and visitors, theater, friendships, and favorite traditions like gardening, building teepees and forts in the woods, and time for daydreaming and unstructured time with familiar and new friends.

For children aged eight weeks through grade 3, our Infant, Toddler, Primary and Elementary programs offer age-appropriate fun in a safe and caring environment. Sessions begin mid to late June and end in late August. Full-Day and Part-Day options are available. Care options are available from 7:30 AM through 6:00 PM.

Infant - 8 weeks through 18 months+

Our Infant Center is a beautiful, sunlit, spacious environment that is custom designed for infants, utterly safe, and alive with responsiveness to their explorations. Within this safe harbor, infants enjoy freedom of movement to discover and interact, all the while developing gross motor skills like grasping, reaching, and climbing.

Our teachers are American Montessori Society (AMS) certified Infant and Toddler professionals, with an in-depth understanding of the young child’s needs and development. Daily schedules are tailored for each infant.

Contact Tracey Baskin at 609-924-4594 x308 or e-mail tbaskin@pmonts.org for more information about our Infant program.

Your child is sure to enjoy the scene with exciting activities that include art, music, science, cooking, nature as well as guest visits. Fitness activities, outdoor games, splash-fest days and group sports are all part of the experience. My Natural World

Exploring the wonders in our own backyard

Elementary - Entering grades 1 – 3

What better way to spend the beautiful fun-filled days of summer than exploring the wonders in our own backyard? Over the summer weeks, children in My Natural World summer camp will explore the beautiful grounds of our school and surrounding Princeton area with hands-on daily activities. Research shows that spending time in nature activates the senses and creates a sense of wonder in children. Children also develop a nature literacy while enjoying a fascination and motivation to learn. It’s no wonder that children who spend more time outside are much happier and more attentive!

Ample time outdoors will be combined with daily activities in our beautiful air-conditioned facility. In the morning, children will enjoy outdoor activities such as exploring the flora and fauna of the Princeton area, farming, gardening, or simply having fun with friends. The afternoons will be enhanced with art projects, Tae Kwon Do lessons, sports, swimming, and exciting guest visits.

My Natural World is a summer experience your child will not want to miss!

Refund Policy

Staffing decisions, student placement, and facilities expenditures are made many months in advance of our summer programs, based on secured enrollment. Please note that we do not offer refunds for SummerQuest, with the exception of illness, verified by the student’s attending physician, that prohibits attendance at SummerQuest for a period of two weeks or longer. Refunds will be limited to the period in which the student is medically certified as unable to participate in the SummerQuest program
