Upper Elementary students took part in a longstanding tradition, the Bagel Breakfast, celebrating their dedication to completing summer homework. This event also allows students to practice “grace and courtesy,” a core tenet of Montessori pedagogy.
Beyond the delicious breakfast, it fosters a sense of community and recognizes the diligence and commitment of each student in completing their summer assignments. After breakfast, the teachers returned the reviewed homework to the students, emphasizing the importance of individual effort and collective achievement. This annual tradition serves as a reminder of the school’s commitment to fostering a student culture that respects and appreciates each other’s accomplishments!
