Lower Elementary students visited the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. At the museum, they had the opportunity to be paleontologists digging for fossils, to visit with a live great horned owl and a boa constrictor, and spend time in an indoor butterfly environment. It was a fun day of hands-on experiences that brought our Montessori biology curriculum to life.
