Maria Montessori called on all Secondary teachers to take students out into the world and to begin their year by building community.

This month, Middle School students went to Fairview Lake YMCA Camp in Newton, NJ, to do just that! Students worked together to complete group challenges in the woods, and used creative thinking and ingenuity to build shelters out of found materials. They had time at the end for reflection and connections by boating on the lake. Students got to know each other better, had a great time working together, and left the camp with positive attitudes. It was another great experience!
