It has been a busy and exciting time for our 8th graders as many apply to independent high schools. In October and November, we welcomed admission representatives from seven schools — Hun, Solebury, PDS, Lawrenceville, George, Peddie, and Pennington — who met with the students and answered their thoughtful questions. Additionally, each student participated in a mock interview with a PMonts administrator, honing their skills and gaining valuable feedback. One visiting admission officer remarked, “The students from PMonts are among the best candidates we see from across the country, bar none.”
To support their SSAT preparation, Dr. Rose provided guidance on verbal and reading strategies, while Mrs. Paula Koerte, led focused math review sessions.
As the admission season winds down, our students are hard at work completing their applications and writing their essays. We look forward to celebrating their efforts when decisions are announced on March 10.
This is all part of their instruction and guidance in transitioning to the next phase of their educational journey.
