Primary through Middle School children gathered to celebrate our first School Spirit Day. This year, each program will take turns hosting our Spirit Days with creative presentations and activities. Middle School had the honor of kicking off the first School Spirit Day of the year. During Leadership class, the students crafted a beautiful and meaningful celebration.
The theme for this year is “Wings” and the Middle School students did an incredible job bringing it to life.
They gathered input from Primary and Elementary students about what “wings” means to them, creating a collaborative poster where students could draw and represent their vision of wings. They also read a children’s book, “If everyday things had wings” by B. Casey, and sang “Blackbird” by The Beatles.
Spirit Day ended with a fantastic performance by the rock band. With the theme of “Wings,” the students embraced the idea of spreading their wings and soaring to new heights this year!
