On the first Friday of every month, we have a Virtual School Spirit Day – a school-wide Zoom led by Mr. Mitnick and Mrs. VonWachenfeldt! Friday, March 12, all classes gathered via Zoom for some community fun!
The event started with the poem, A Seed, read by Misimi, a Middle School student. Mrs. VonWachenfeldt shared a time-lapse video of how seeds grow and then led a community-building game called Signs of Spring. Each program looked at a close-up image and then tried to guess what spring thing it was! The Zoom ended with Mr. Mitnick singing the school song, followed by the Middle School soundtrack that was produced on HOS Surpise Day. It was a fun way to virtually get together for a school-wide event before heading into Spring Break!
