Our recent School Spirit Day focused on the EARTH – one of the four elements. In preparation for the assembly the Upper Elementary children made “seed balls” by making balls out of clay, potting soil and wild flowers seeds. This is a planting practice known around the world, to promote the growth of native plants. The students made enough balls to share with all the programs at school. Each class will cast the seed balls on the school grounds and watch for colorful flowers in the spring.
