Ecology students improve environment!

By March 15, 2018Uncategorized

Elementary After School students found a way to invite their feathered friends into their outdoor learning space. They made bird feeders out of recycled bowls and plates and hung them in the new gazebo, hoping to attract some winter birds. Misimi demonstrates the process below:

Over the past year Mrs Hammer and the Elementary students have been working hard to create an outdoor space to attract birds and wildlife. The students spent a lot of time in Ecology class talking about how this could be done, working with the Head of School and the Facilities Manager to purchase new trees and create a space that is welcoming to birds and wildlife. All their hard work is paying off!
