Elementary SummerQuest students have been exploring Kitchen Science! Students have been practicing using the scientific method: learning to make observations, develop hypotheses, and working through the experiment. Among the experiments was a popular activity involving density. The students used different quantities of sugar to create different layers of density, resulting in a stratified rainbow!
