Thank You to our Volunteers!
Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time at the book fair, helping to make it such a big success, especially our parent volunteers: Liliana Post, Max Leyherr, Neha Raval, Justine Hopkins, Carla Tagliente, Jess Vamvas, Jasmin Hernandez, Chloe Brown, Rachel Pereira, Binaisha Rebello, Tejasvi Mudunuri, Hina Patel, Michele Mazeris, Savreet Chawla, and Riya Smith.
Thank you to the school community for supporting the Book Fair and Bake Sale! Thanks to you, we surpassed last year’s sales and can purchase books for the school!
Thank You Middle School Students!
Middle School students were a great help running the fair! They read to the younger students, helped students create wishlists, and ran a successful Bake Sale to help 8th grader Anamitra Abi with her community project supporting the Arthritis Foundation & CHOP!
Author’s Visit
Graphic novel author, Mat Heagerty visited the Book Fair and spoke to Elementary and Middle School students about how graphic novels get made. They all worked together to create a single-panel comic of their own!
Elementary students received a copy of Mat’s most recent book, “Lumberjackula”, and Middle School students received a copy of “Unplugged and Unpopular” which they had signed by the author!
Book Character Day!
On the final day of the on-site Book Fair students were invited to come to the Book Fair dressed as their favorite book character! Many students, and teachers, chose to join in the fun!
