On the first Friday of every month, we have a Virtual School Spirit Day – a school-wide Zoom led by Mr. Mitnick and Mrs. VonWachenfeldt! Friday, April 9th, all classes gathered via Zoom for some community fun!
The theme of this month’s School Spirit Day was “The Princeton Montessori Story.” Mr. Mitnick started the event off with his original song, “Maria Montessori”, from the Born to Learn musical. The song gives us the history of Maria Montessori in a nutshell. Afterwards, Mrs. Morrison took us through the history of Princeton Montessori School, from 1968 to the present, and reminded us that adaptability to change has been a constant theme for our school and part of our success, including our adaptability to the pandemic. She reminded everyone that they are now part of the Princeton Montessori Story! Finally, Mrs. VonWachenfeldt asked each program a trivia question to see how much they remembered from the presentation. The event ended with Mr. Mitnick rapping the School song!
