Baby & Me
Mindful Parenting With Your Baby
For children from Birth – 14 months
6 weeks Class – Thursdays, October 16, 23, 30, November 6, 13, 20 • 9:00-10:15 am
This class offers a special time each week to slow down, connect, and gain insights from a trusted Montessori educator. Weekly discussions offer guidance and mutual support to mothers in the beginning months of their child’s life. Topics include sleep, creating an optimal environment, safety concerns, self-care for mom, nutrition, the importance of a predictable routine, and how to encourage and respect your baby’s natural abilities and love of learning. Each week, there will be one main area of focus as well as a time for general discussion on areas of concern. Mothers are encouraged to participate in a gentle, non-judgmental sharing of what it means to parent an infant and how to balance their life with the life of their baby.
