For children from Birth – 14 months

New classes are starting in the fall of 2026

This class offers a special time each week to slow down, connect, and gain insights from a trusted Montessori educator. Weekly discussions offer guidance and mutual support to mothers in the beginning months of their child’s life. Topics include creating an optimal environment, safety concerns, self-care for mom, nutrition, the importance of a predictable routine, and how to encourage and respect your baby’s natural abilities and love of learning. Each week, there will be one main area of focus as well as a time for general discussion on areas of concern. Parents are encouraged to participate in a gentle, non-judgmental sharing of what it means to parent an infant and how to balance their life with the life of their baby.

Led by Alona Procaccini, a Toddler conference teacher and Admissions Associate at Princeton Montessori School. Alona loves working with infant and toddler-aged children because of their passion for exploring the world.

Alona holds an American Montessori Society credential in Infant/Toddler through Princeton Center for Teacher Education (PCTE), NJ, and is an AMS/MACTE – fully credentialed Infant/Toddler Instructor.

She is a PCTE Instructor and field consultant, as well as a frequent presenter at parent workshops on the topic of Preparing a Montessori Home Environment for the Young Child.
