Hispanic Heritage Month

By October 29, 2025Elementary

Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration of Hispanic and Latino history and culture. From September 15 to October 15 extra recognition is given to the many contributions made to the history and culture of the United States, including important advocacy work, vibrant art, popular and traditional foods, and much more.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage

Elementary students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) in Spanish class with different activities and projects. They made flags and maps of Spanish-speaking countries and watched videos to learn more about Hispanic and Latin cultures. Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the cultures and histories of people with heritage from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. It also honors their achievements and contributions in the United States and worldwide.
Princeton Montessori School offers many enriching activities in the course of the school day.
