Upper Elementary Snapshot

By February 23, 2021Elementary

In Upper Elementary, 4th graders are diligently working through their “Extreme Settings” unit for Literacy. As part of this coursework, they are investigating different types of resources, including a technical manual, a science fiction novel, and primary sources in the form of photographs. Our real-life weather lately has been incredibly inspiring –  while also offering many text-to-world connections – as they work on writing pieces with unpredictable weather and sensory imagery!
