This week was another fun week for Upper Elementary. Last week, Julliette celebrated her birthday on the 30th. She turned 10. She let us know that her favorite subject is art, she likes to read at home, and that she’s looking forward to Camp Bernie. Two weeks ago, on Friday, we got a new Real Madrid ball that is inflated with helium so it doesn’t go straight. It is really bouncy and of course, great for soccer.

Last week, on Thursday, we had a special Halloween Party that lasted all day long. There were snacks, crafts, games & movies, and even an escape room. We even made apple crumble and pumpkin soup. We ended the week in a very fun way. Thursday was the last day of the week.

On Monday, Divya did her public speaking on plant medicine. She explained many interesting things to the students of Upper Elementary.  Aadi did his public speaking on AI. We always get to learn about something that we don’t usually learn about. There will be many more Public Speakings to come.

In cultural subjects, Fifth Grade is studying the first 18 elements of the periodic table, and choosing one to research about. Fourth Grade is studying The Hydrosphere, and they are also doing their country reports. Third grade is studying cells and researching about them.

We were all very excited for the three-day weekend and to be back this week!!
