Each Primary classroom received a butterfly kit this spring. The students enjoyed this hands-on educational activity, which let them care for live insects and observe the miracle of metamorphosis – from caterpillar to butterfly! Over the course of approximately 3 weeks, they watched as the caterpillars transformed to chrysalides and finally to beautiful Painted Lady butterflies.
It is always fun for the children to release their butterflies. Ms. Sabuhi was able to show the children in the Infant Center the butterflies, as their classroom is right behind the Pansy Room!
