Book Club for students and parents

By February 14, 2019Uncategorized
Bookends is an evening book club for Upper Elementary students and their parents. The club meets six times between October and May, and offers a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to connect over shared literature. Each Bookends gathering is led by a different Princeton Montessori School teacher, who also has the pleasure of choosing the book that will be read by the group. The gatherings include delicious food, a discussion of the book, and a fun activity for all.
The most recent Bookends club was led by Mrs. Grazon and the book was, As Brave As You, by Jason Reynolds. The students and their parents created an “inside-outside room,” which was a central location in the novel. Collaboration, creativity, and lots of laughter were evident while students and parents worked together to complete their masterpieces!
