The Upper Elementary students have been participating in an elective course on Greek Mythology. Students have been practicing summarizing and sequencing the stories they have been reading in D’Aulaires Book of Greek Myths using a digital resource, StoryboardThat.

While we don’t typically teach Greek Mythology as a standalone course in UE, enough of our students expressed an interest in this subject that we decided to “follow the child” and create an elective class. Our students’ capacities to learn and create has not been deterred by the new remote learning environment; rather, we have been able to utilize all of the resources available to us to continue to personalize the curriculum.
