The Upper Elementary students all received Character Award Certificates. The students studied character traits and virtues throughout the year in their weekly “Gifts and Challenges” classes. They worked on topics such as patience, courtesy, gratitude, perseverance, responsibility and leadership. Each student chose a character trait to reflect on for the year and wrote an essay on the topic. Two 3rd year students, Annabella and Mari, read their essays on leadership to the audience.
