Princeton Center for Teacher Education (PCTE) is proud to announce the completion of its Accreditation Renewal process with the American Montessori Society (AMS) and Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) in early May. This 7-year renewal recognizes that PCTE has met and exceeded all criteria of the highest standards of Montessori teacher education.
The verification team gave many compliments to our school, praising our experienced staff, beautiful environments, and the benefit of offering a lab school to our adult learners. We are proud that new teachers observe the gold-standard of Montessori education when they visit Princeton Montessori School (PMonts).
The renewal process also allows PCTE to recognize and celebrate the experienced faculty within PMonts, who instruct adult learners from around the world and prepare them to embark on their careers as Montessori educators!
Dorothy Paul, PCTE Program Director, represents PCTE in the Montessori community and leads on program development, course curriculum, instructor development, instructor and student relations, and all general aspects of training center operations.
Founded in 1989, PCTE is a Montessori teacher training center dedicated to helping adults find and cultivate the maximum potential in every child as the focus of its MACTE-accredited and AMS-affiliated teacher education programs. Its world-class facility within the Princeton Montessori School offers a hands-on learning experience led by a highly-trained and experienced faculty that is second to none. PCTE believes in forming lasting partnerships with our adult learners to support them throughout their training and throughout their careers. Find out more!
