Lower Elementary students visited the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia in support of their science studies. This museum is a part of Drexel University. Visiting the museum gave students the opportunity to explore various aspects of geography, history, and zoology included in the Lower Elementary curriculum. In the Bugs to Butterflies discovery, students investigated invertebrates through role-playing activities, museum specimens, and touching live invertebrates.
