Meet Harmony Kingsley, Infant Center

What do you love about working with children?
I love working with children, and I am thrilled to have joined the infant/toddler team. I love working with this age group in particular, because it is incredible to see how much each child grows and learns about the world around them on a daily basis.

What drew you to Montessori?
I became interested in learning more about Montessori education when a friend of mine excitedly told me about how much her children love going to their Montessori school. She began to explain the philosophy to me, and I was instantly drawn to it. I started to research on my own, and as I learned more and more about the philosophy, I knew that it was an environment I’d like to teach in.

What’s one thing you’d like families to know about you?
I would like families to know that I have a passion for working with children, and that I am incredibly grateful to join the Princeton Montessori community! I enjoy sharing my love of music by singing with the children each day.

What do you love about working with children?
Working with children inspires me to view the world through their eyes and to appreciate the opportunity I have in guiding them in reaching their potential to make the world a better place for humanity.
What drew you to Montessori?
I believe in the Montessori philosophy by facilitating the development of social skills, mutual respect, independence, and encouraging learning at their own pace. I have heard a lot of positive feedback on this approach from the community.
What’s one thing you’d like families to know about you?
I would like families to know that I have a passion for working with children and appreciate the opportunity for us to grow together in our journey. On a personal note I love music, yoga, calligraphy, and cooking and I am fluent in both Mandarin and Shanghainese.
