Holiday Giving Drives
The Parent Association’s Community Service Committee invites you to participate in our annual Holiday Giving Drive, which benefits two organizations – The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey and the CYO of Mercer County. In addition to helping our less fortunate youth in Mercer county, these activities are designed to teach our children about the needs of others, and how their efforts can make a difference. We hope that every family will consider participating in these worthy causes.
Gift Donation for The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey
Here is how you can help the Children’s Home Society of New Jersey:
The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (CHSofNJ) is committed to protecting the lives of abused and neglected children. Your donation will help a child that has been placed in foster care to receive a gift this holiday season. We invite each family to donate a new unwrapped gift. There are two ways to participate.
In-person donation delivery: You may deliver new unwrapped gifts in the morning or afternoons at drop-off/pick-up. There will be bins outside to place your items.
For a virtual donation: In order to social distance, you may wish to make your donation directly online. The following page includes all of the items CHSofNJ is seeking for their drive, and gifts can be directly purchased on this page: https://yougivegoods.com/chsnj-holidaydrive.
Here is how you can help the CYO of Mercer County:
The CYO of Mercer County seeks to enhance the lives of underserved children by helping them stay warm this winter. We encourage each family to donate a pair of mittens, gloves, or a hat, to be brought to school by your children. These will be added to the Giving Line garland which decorates the walls in the Infant/Toddler and Main Entrance foyers and serves as a beautiful seasonal reminder of the good we can do as a community.

Please make all donations for both drives by Thursday, December 10th so they reach the organizations in time for the holiday.
