Celebrating Our AMS Accreditation Renewal!

By February 12, 2026All Programs

Dear PMonts Community,

We’re thrilled to share wonderful news: Princeton Montessori School’s accreditation with the American Montessori Society (AMS) has been officially renewed! This is an important milestone for our school and a strong affirmation of the high-quality Montessori education your children experience every day.

AMS accreditation is a rigorous, multi-year process that includes deep reflection, documentation, and an on-site visit by experienced Montessori educators. The visiting team saw what we see daily: a community rooted in authentic Montessori practice, professionalism, and care for children. Their final report includes meaningful commendations that reflect the strength of our programs, classrooms, and culture.

This achievement belongs to our whole community. Thank you for your time, partnership, and thoughtful input throughout the process. Your support of PMonts, and your trust in our educators, made a real difference and helped our team put forward the very best picture of our school.

As with any thoughtful review, AMS also shared recommendations for continued growth. We’re excited to use these insights to inform our future strategic plan, which we’ll unveil next year. Accreditation isn’t about a report on a shelf—it’s about continuously improving what families and students experience every day, and we’re committed to that work.

Thank you for being such an engaged, supportive part of the PMonts community. We’re proud of this milestone and grateful to share it with you.

With appreciation and celebration,

Andrea O’Brian, Head of School
