Founded in 1968, Princeton Montessori School is a co-educational independent school serving over 220 students from infancy through 8th grade. Our beautiful 21-acre campus, surrounded by natural

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Classroom Leadership
● Design and present engaging lessons using Montessori materials and methods
● Guide students through individualized and small-group learning experiences
● Teach core academic subjects within the Montessori elementary curriculum
● Foster independence, responsibility, and collaboration in the classroom community
● Maintain a well-prepared, organized, and inspiring Montessori environment
● Supervise and support students throughout the school day
Parent Partnership
● Serve as the primary liaison for parents of an assigned group of students
● Communicate regularly with families about student progress and development
● Lead two parent conferences annually
● Partner with families to support each child’s growth
Professional Collaboration
● Maintain accurate records of student progress and benchmarks
● Prepare written conference reports for student files
● Participate in faculty meetings, school initiatives, and professional development
● Collaborate closely with colleagues to strengthen the Elementary program
● Contribute to a classroom culture rooted in respect, curiosity, and independence
Qualifications
● AMS Elementary I, II, or I-II credential (required)
● Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (required)
● Experience working with children ages 6–12
● Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Calendar)
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● A collaborative and professional mindset
