School Spirit Day Celebration

By October 24, 2025All Programs

Primary through Middle School children gathered to celebrate our first School Spirit Day. We were excited to launch this year’s theme, Community in Unity, with an art exhibit inspired by Suzanne Lang’s Families, Families, Families! Each student was asked to bring a photo of their family, and together they formed a living exhibit that celebrates the beauty of difference and the shared love, care, and connection that define family in all its forms.

Middle School students had the honor of kicking off the first School Spirit Day of the year and introducing this year’s theme, “Community and Unity”.

School Spirit Day also kicked off our new Buddy Bunch program. Buddy Bunches are mini community groups made up of Kindergarten, Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Middle School students paired with a teacher or faculty member.

Spirit Days happen four times a year. The community wears our school shirts or colors, and Primary, Elementary, and Middle School students, teachers, and staff come together for a special school spirit day assembly.

Spirit Day ended with a fantastic performance by the rock band.
