Every other month we join together for a Virtual School Spirit Day – a school-wide Zoom led by Mrs. VonWachenfeldt and Mr. Mitnick! Thursday, December 2, all classes gathered via Zoom for some community fun! The theme was TRADITIONS!
The event started with Mrs. VonWachenfeldt welcoming everyone and talking about what a tradition is and what traditions we have at home and school. We then watched a video that Mrs. VonWachenfeldt put together where she interviewed students and asked them about their favorite traditions. It was fun to learn about some of our school traditions in the upper school that the younger children can look forward to! She then led a community-building game where each program had a clue to solve. She showed a picture to the classes and they had to guess what tradition it represented.
The Zoom ended with Mr. Mitnick leading everyone in a Covid-style chant of the school song, with Elementary and Middle School keeping beat with the cup game! It was a fun way to virtually get together for a school-wide event!
