The Upper Elementary students took an overnight camping trip to Camp Bernie in Port Murray, NJ. We have been attending this YMCA camp for the last 20+ years and it is one of the highlights of the school year. Our students always have fond memories of this trip due to the team-building and bonding experiences provided by well-trained, experienced, and respectful camp counselors. This trip offers children an opportunity to gain a sense of independence with the freedom to be themselves while spending time outdoors and learning more about their natural surroundings. The students experienced rock climbing, a low ropes course, and many other team-building and active social education activities. The evening campfire is always a favorite activity. The weather was perfect for this annual spring overnight adventure!
