This weekly class offers mutual guidance and support to mothers in the beginning months of their baby’s life. Each week, there will be one main area of focus as well as a time for general discussion on areas of concern. Weekly discussion topics will include sleep, creating a safe and optimal environment, self-care for mom, nutrition, the importance of a predictable routine and how to encourage and respect your child’s inborn abilities and love of learning.
Group members are encouraged to participate in a gentle, non-judgmental sharing of what it means to parent an infant while sharing the joys and challenges they face balancing their lives with the life of their young child.
