Spring is finally here!
“A child, more than anyone else, is a spontaneous observer of nature” ~ Maria Montessori
Spring has almost arrived! Trees are sprouting, the birds are singing, the breeze is blowing, and everyone is taking advantage of the warm and sunny days! It is the perfect time of year to get outside for work and play.
Our toddlers are enjoying more time outside, going for walks, and rediscovering their playground. Inside, they are enjoying new work and getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day!
Spring is in the air! Our beautiful campus is displaying signs of spring, and the Primary children are eager to go outdoors to play, explore, and discover what’s new.
Students took a nature walk and noticed buds on the tree limbs, and irises, crocuses, and daffodil bulbs popping up. They checked out the garden and are excited to see what might emerge as the weather gets warmer.
One class was particularly interested in finding the perfect branch for our neighborhood squirrel, Chubby, to help him reach the bird feeders more easily. The students delighted in pointing out their stick discoveries to one another, sharing in the excitement of the search.

We can’t wait to hear from our friends after spring break about any other signs of spring they may have seen during their time off!
