Primary through Middle School children gathered to celebrate our first School Spirit Day. Led by Middle School students, the theme was “Nourishing Our Community,” which included 4 core pillars:
- Primary: Staying active and keeping germs away by washing hands
- LE: Practicing treating others the way they want to be treated
- UE: Preparing snack for one another and giving thanks for practical life recipes
- MS: Learning new time management skills and growing daily by rising to the challenge and embracing the journey, not just the destination
The community got together in their “Buddy Bunches” and played a game of “PMonts Trivia”, and the students read aloud from the book “The Rabbit Listened”. The Middle School created a video which focused on the questions:
- How long have you been at PMonts?
- What makes PMonts stand out for you?
- What moments do you remember most?
Spirit Day ended with a fantastic performance by the rock band.
Spirit Days happen four times a year. The community wears our school shirts or colors, and Primary, Elementary, and Middle School students, teachers, and staff come together for a special school spirit day assembly.
