Every other month we join together for a Virtual School Spirit Day – a school-wide Zoom led by Mr. Mitnick and Mrs. VonWachenfeldt! Thursday, September 30 was the kick-off and all classes gathered via Zoom for some community fun!
The event started with Mrs. VonWachenfeldt welcoming everyone, followed by Middle School student, Mia, reading the book featured in our StoryWalk, “All are Welcome”. We then watched a video that Mrs. VonWachenfeldt put together where she interviewed students and asked them about their favorite spots at our beautiful school. She then led a community-building scavenger hunt where each program had a clue to solve. She showed a picture to the classes and they had to solve the riddle – Where is this at the school? The Zoom ended with Mr. Mitnick and Mrs. VonWachenfeldt singing Leading the Way, and a Covid-style version of the school song! It was a fun way to virtually get together for a school-wide event!
