Holiday Giving Drives
We are excited to announce the start of our annual Holiday Giving Drive. This year we are holding a hat/glove and toy drive to support The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (www.chsofnj.org).
In addition to helping youth in Mercer County who may go without this holiday season, these community service activities help strengthen our children’s understanding of the needs of others and how their efforts can make a difference. We hope that every family will consider participating in these worthy causes.
Toy Drive:
The CHS of NJ is committed to protecting the lives of abused and neglected children. Your donation will help a child who has been placed in foster care to receive a gift this holiday season. We invite each family to donate a new, unwrapped gift. To participate, please deliver the gifts at dropoff or pickup. Collection bins will be at school from December 1-15.
Hats, Mittens & Gloves:
The CHS of NJ seeks to enhance the lives of underserved children by helping them stay warm this winter. We encourage each family to donate a new pair of mittens, gloves, or a hat. These will be added, by your children, to the Giving Line garland which decorates the walls in the Infant/Toddler and Main Entrance foyers and serves as a beautiful seasonal reminder of the good we can do as a community!
Please make all donations for both drives by Friday, December 15th so they reach the children in time for the holiday. Primary, Elementary, and Middle School students are encouraged to bring their donations to the Spirit Day assembly on December 7th!
