Last week was a very exciting week for UE. We had our last ski trip of 2026. It was fun, and the temperature was a little cold.

The public speaker for last week was Aydin. He did it on clay.

In Biology, the fifth graders are working on human body systems on choice reports. Each student is writing and presenting on a specific group of organs and their functions.

The fourth graders are studying simple machines in Physical Science, like levers, pulleys, inclined planes, wheels and axles. They are starting their Rube Goldberg Projects.

The third graders are studying the Clock of Eons and eras in History. They were working on posters about an eon or era. They presented them on Tuesday.

You can also enjoy pictures from the UE recess playing in the snow in the past weeks.

PS: Since we had shorter weeks and ski trips in January, we paused our newsletter. But we are back!
