This week we came back from spring break. Monday was pie day at school, and the 5th graders presented two Geometry lessons: parts of a circle and the circumference (and the number Pi).

On the 24th, it was Victoria’s birthday. She turned 9 this year. Her favorite present was a dragon-shaped puzzle, and her favorite subject is music.

In our cultural lessons, the 3rd grade is studying animals, plants, and fungi in Biology. The 4th graders are studying ancient civilizations in History. The 5th graders are studying electricity in Physical Science.

On Thursday, the 26th, the brass quintet from Princeton Symphony Orchestra came to school for a presentation. On Friday, the 27th, Lower Elementary performed the “Red Cap Dolls from Toyland” at 1 pm for the dress rehearsal and at 6 pm for the real performance.

This week, some after-school activities started, like Taekwon-Do and outdoor soccer.
