The UE students have been learning about solar energy and one of their projects has been to build solar ovens out of pizza boxes. The students tried them out by cooking up some delicious s’mores! It was a chilly day and they were not sure how well it would work, but the temperature in the boxes went from 40 to 100 degrees in about 25 minutes and the chocolate melted beautifully!
