School Spirit Days are joyous celebrations of our school community
During the assembly, Upper Elementary students acted out the story “Ordinary Mary’s Extraordinary Deed” by Emily Pearson. The story showed how anyone can start a ripple of kindness. Students were asked to look for ways they could make someone’s day a little brighter – by being a good listener, helping a friend, sharing gratitude, appreciation, a kind word or deed – even a smile! And watch the ripples grow!! 
School Spirit Day was also the kick-off to our Holiday Giving Drive to support the Children’s Home Society of NJ. Donations of hats, gloves, and toys will help children right here in NJ stay warm this winter and receive a gift for the holidays. Donations are accepted through December 14th.
To start off School Spirt Day, Mr. Mitnick led the school community in singing ‘Gratitude”
Spirit Days happen 4 times a year, and the community wears our school shirts or colors, and Primary, Elementary, and Middle School students, teachers, and staff come together for a special community gathering.
