A Montessori Middle School education offers an experiential, dynamic approach to each subject area, integrated studies between programs, and a focus on character development and self-exploration.

Every Friday, the Middle School students work on drama and performance skills in preparation for their play in January. In this class they’re using what they’ve learned about voice projection, stage presence, body language and audience awareness to role play a variety of student-generated scenarios about the challenges of early adolescence. Connecting the theater curriculum to the social and emotional needs of Middle School students is just one example of the developmentally-appropriate flexibility inherent to a Montessori and International Baccalaureate program.
