Fun, Festive School Spirit Day Celebration

By November 9, 2016Uncategorized

School Spirit Days are joyous celebrations of our community and our school.

On our second School Spirit day of the year we celebrated GROWTH, the second stage in the Cycle of Life, which is the theme for this year’s assemblies. Primary through Middle School gathered to acknowledge that Princeton Montessori School is a magical place to learn and grow.  Songs were sung, skits preformed, and poems were shared to bring the community together and explore ideas of physical, mental and spiritual growth.  Ms. Sabuhi , and several primary children, beautifully performed a legend about a turtle growing in wisdom. With great humor and insight, the Upper Elementary level two students created and acted out skits illustrating the stages in the Cycle of Life.  Led by our talented Mr. Mitnick, the event was woven together by the joining of our voices in song. The grand finale, for this fun and colorful assembly, was a magic trick performed by the Middle School students. They took the four requirements for growth, namely sunlight, food, air, and water, and turned it into a shower of colorful confetti which rained down on a room full of happy children!
