The Parent Association’s Community Service Committee is acknowledging Valentine’s Day with a school-wide activity to help Princeton Montessori School give back to the community. They are organizing the 5th Annual Food Drive to benefit the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). TASK feeds those who are hungry, and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons. In addition to helping our less fortunate neighbors in Mercer County, this activity is designed to involve our students so that they may learn about the needs of others, and how their efforts can make a difference. From Primary to Middle School, children will participate in age-appropriate ways, from making Valentines cards, to decorating and assembling the food bags. Our goal is to assemble 300+ dinner bags and deliver them to TASK in time for Valentine’s Day. All members of our school community are encouraged to participate. Last year’s Food Drive provided 400 dinners to families in need! Let’s do it again this year!

You may purchase these items at a local area store and drop them off in the Infant/Toddler wing and at the reception desk at the school, or for your convenience, you may purchase from Amazon using the links below. If you wish, you may have your Amazon orders shipped directly to the school. The deadline to receive all items at the school is Friday, February 3, 2017.
