The first community service project of the 2022-23 year was a big success! We received generous donations from our community for Mount Carmel Guild! The organization was so grateful for the support from Princeton Montessori School in helping to provide Mercer County families in need with food for the Thanksgiving holiday. Organized by the PMonts Parent Association, our community came together to provide 35+ bags of food, 1 Shop Rite gift card, and 10 turkeys to those in need!
Each year the Mount Carmel Guild provides 700-900 families throughout Mercer County with turkey and trimmings for their Thanksgiving dinner. This year will be especially challenging for families in need and the Guild’s Thanksgiving program gave us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our school’s spirit of caring. It also allowed our students to learn about the needs of others and empowered them to make a difference in their own community.
