Celeste Fan, Upper Elementary Teacher
Meet Celeste Fan, Upper Elementary teacher! Since joining Princeton Montessori School in 2026, Celeste has brought a wealth of Montessori experience, a passion for lifelong learning, and a thoughtful approach to helping students grow.
With AMI and AMS credentials and a background in Montessori education and school leadership, Celeste is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that nurture curiosity, independence, and a love of discovery.
Why did you get into education?
“I enjoy being with children and helping them grow! I’m so happy when I see children thriving!”
What’s your favorite lesson or activity?
“My favorite lesson is Checkerboard in Math. There are many ways to use it to teach children at different skill levels. Making problems with self-chosen numbers and solving them is super fun!”
What’s the most important lesson you hope your students take away?
“I hope they develop enthusiasm and curiosity toward life! We have highs and lows in life. The good thing is we can decide how we want to feel about them. When we have a positive mindset, it can help us get through a lot of hard times. I hope children carry this mindset into all their learning. Be interested in the problems, not afraid of them!”
Fun fact: Celeste loves snowboarding and rides goofy, which means she snowboards with her right foot forward!
We’re delighted to have Celeste’s experience, enthusiasm, and love of learning as part of our PMonts community!
