Happy Earth Day!
Every other month we join together for a Virtual School Spirit Day – a school-wide Zoom led by Mrs. VonWachenfeldt and Mr. Mitnick! Thursday, April 14, all classes gathered via Zoom for our final School Spirit Day of the year! The theme was Care of the Environment, in celebration of Earth Day! Mr. Mitnick and Mrs. VonWachenfeldt lead the community in singing Leading the Way.
We then watched a video that Mrs. VonWachenfeldt put together where she interviewed students and asked them about how they care for the earth. She then led a community-building game where she asked each classroom to answer a riddle about our environment at school.
The Zoom ended with Mr. Mitnick leading everyone in the school song. It was a fun way to virtually get together for a school-wide event!
