The Lower Elementary students visited Cherry Grove Farm as part of their ecology studies. During the trip, they enjoyed a guided tour of the farm and saw many different animals. Some of their favorite animals were the newborn calves and piglets.
One of the most exciting parts of the visit was learning how to make fresh mozzarella cheese. Each student made and pulled their own cheese to take home. It was a fun and exciting way to continue learning outside the classroom.
